We need to begin making some pentacles, something like this pentacle. Use any shiny stars, they can be silver or gold, brightly colored like mine, plain or sparkly foil. Stick your shiny stars on shiny pennies. That's right, pennies.

It sometimes seems we want to make the symbols so stodgy and serious, that we forget they should be common. When you pay for something, let a pentacle into the mix. Let it get into the hands of a child who finds it on a floor where you “accidentally” drop it.

The pentacle, after all is the symbol rightly used on the coins cards in the Tarot, or diamonds in a regular playing pack. Imagine, being a miner with a mother load, that's pentacle power. One of its many meanings is worldly riches, it is a token and emblem. It also stands for the earth element, for Hades and hell, even. Good forturne, always reminding of temptations to bad outcomes.

Even our peaceful and harmonious yoga following friends ground themselves in the earth. Pentacles for them too, even if it comes in the form of alms.

So make these pentacles. Take them out into the world. Give pentacles to people. It can be a secret or even surreptitious. Give a pentacle to a fundamentalist. Tee Hee. Hide pentacles in plain sight. Give them in payment. Send out blessings of the spirits of the earth. and don't.
